We write to express our heartfelt gratitude for Canada’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Americas, Peter Kent’s strong statement that Canada would regard any attack on the state of Israel as an attack on Canada. 

As the clock continues to tick for the Iranian nuclear program, these statements play a decisive role in the court of world opinion. It is our earnest hope that more countries follow your nation’s principled lead.
